Meet the Doctors
Dr. Dana Okur, DDS
Dr. Dana Okur is committed to providing first class dental care for her patients. She is passionate about keeping up to date with the latest technologies and procedures to ensure her practice remains at the forefront of dentistry. Dr. Okur is a member of Spear Education and frequently travels to the Spear campus in Arizona to participate in multi-day intensive workshops with dentists from around the country. In addition to traveling for continuing education, Dr. Okur is active in study clubs in Philadelphia where complex cases are reviewed.
Dr. Okur received her dental degree from the University of Maryland and moved to Philadelphia to complete a residency program at the Albert Einstein Medical Center. Throughout her residency, Dr. Okur provided comprehensive dental care at a Level 1 trauma center. This experience included managing facial trauma, swelling, lacerations and treating medically complex patients.
Before dental school, Dr. Okur received a degree in Neurobiology and Physiology with honors from the University of Maryland. As an undergraduate, Dr. Okur was selected for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship to study memory and learning in a neuroscience lab. During her time in the lab, she wrote and defended a thesis, and her research was published in the journal of Neuroscience.
Dr. Okur lives in Center City Philadelphia with her husband and young daughter Maya. She enjoys skiing, trying out new restaurants in the city, and traveling. She has already visited 25 countries and looks forward to bringing Maya to some of her favorite places around the world!

Dr. Beatriz Garces, DMD
Dr. Beatriz Garces was born in Havana, Cuba. She moved to Miami, Florida in 1994 to acquire her Bachelors in Biology at Florida International University. She then attended Temple University School of Dentistry for her Dental Medicine Degree in 2002. In 2003, Dr. Garces earned her Certificate for General Practice Residency at Christiana Care in Wilmington, Delaware.
Dr. Garces was the owner of Garces Dental Group for fifteen years, she is a board member for Puentes De Salud and a part-time faculty clinician for the Dental Health Center at Delaware Technical Community College (Wilmington, Delaware), Centurion Delaware Department of Corrections (Wilmington, Delaware) and at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). In 2012, Dr. Beatriz Garces founded the Garces Foundation in order to improve access to the resources available to the Philadelphia immigrant community. She continues to host Community Health Days, quarterly health events that provide free dental and medical services to the immigrant population.
In her free time, Dr. Garces spends time with her family cooking and traveling or on the Schuylkill River rowing for the Bachelors Barge Rowing Club.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Veronica Szabo, DMD
Dr. Veronica Szabo is a caring and conscientious dentist committed to making dentistry easy and comfortable. To serve her patients with the highest level of care, Dr. Szabo attends numerous continuing education courses each year. She enjoys working alongside patients to get a smile they love and is a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Szabo grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland and later moved to Philadelphia to attend college. After earning a business degree from Drexel University, she attended Temple University’s School of Dentistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) and was recognized by the Philadelphia County Dental Society for her dedication to the field. In the Spring of 2015, Dr. Szabo completed a dental externship with the Indian Health Services, traveling to Minnesota’s Cass Lake Reservation to study early childhood caries and early intervention for high-risk populations. Since then, Dr. Szabo has enjoyed working in both pediatric and general dentistry settings.
When not in the office, Dr. Szabo loves taking her dog on the trails in Fairmount Park and seeing concerts. She and her husband welcomed home a baby boy named Harvey Kelce in August 2022.
Meet the Doctors
Wael Isleem, DMD, MS
Dr. Wael Isleem received his DDS degree from the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Dentistry in 2011.
Later Dr. Isleem continued his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania, earned his DMD with clinical honors. Dr. Isleem continued his post graduate training at University of Pennsylvania and earned a Certificate of Periodontology, Periodontal Prosthesis and Master of Oral Biology.
Dr. Isleem feels dentistry is a perfect mix between art and science. As a dual specialist dental provider, he strives to provide comprehensive treatment for patients.
Dr. Isleem’s focus is on multidisciplinary approaches to treating complex dental problems and the use of digital technology in dental implant and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Isleem has expertise in Digital Facial Driven Full Mouth Reconstructions which creates the harmony between facial and dental esthetics to provide optimal outcomes in the most complex cases.
Dr. Isleem is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry. He received multiple awards and scholarships during his studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside the office Dr. Isleem enjoys traveling with his wife Emmy, Cooking and Photography.
